Our classes are for adults, with no age limit.

We cover all styles of music.

Start in our Absolute Beginner level. We teach the basic steps with slowed down music to get you started.

Wear comfortable clothing, that you can move in. Many wear workout gear. Enclosed shoes are a must such as sneakers. Once you are ready, it is a good idea to invest in proper dance shoes or dance sneaker.

Please bring a water bottle for regular hydration. Our hall is air-conditioned but you may feel warm on hot days. Your mobile phone to check in (Please ensure your mobile phone is on silent or on airplane mode for the duration of the class.)

Consult our teachers; we may have dances and adaptations for steps that are challenging. Chairs are provided along the perimeter for dances you may wish to sit and enjoy.

There is parking directly out the front of the Community Centre and on-street parking. Overflow parking is accessed via the driveway to the left of the hall. Follow to park in the bays or up onto the basketball court behind the building.

Your payment covers all the classes on the day. So if you wish, you can stay for all four classes for the one charge.

If you wish to pay on the day, it must be by EFTPOS* debit card, Mastercard or Visa. *Transaction fees apply.
We accept cash payments to the exact value. We do not have change.
If you wish to pay via Bank Transfer, please do so 2 days prior to the class. If we have not received your funds we cannot provide class entry.

We recommend that you attend at least once a week to keep up with learning the dances. We introduce new dances regularly, so there is always a new dance to learn from the start.
If you are going away on holiday, no problem. There are many demonstration and teach videos to watch and practise to.
In the beginner levels, steps are walked through for a quick reminder, before the dance.

Your class passes are valid for 3 years from the purchase date. A refund for the unused portion may be requested, at anytime.

Everyone learns at their own pace. It takes a number of regular lessons to start to feel comfortable.
Be kind to yourself. Remember, we all started as a beginner!

Yes. If you just want to try one class, please email us via the Register page and request a one-class pass in the ‘anything you would like us to know’ box.

Once you feel comfortable with the steps you have learn’t, move up to the next class to learn more. Stay for the new dances being taught or have a go at the others too. The choice is yours. Stay as long as you like.

Yes. We have a Whats App chat group that you can join to reach out to your new dance family. Our group often posts pictures of their holidays, funny memes or anything that you would like to share. We will have a few events and party days during the year. Social coffee catchups are the norm for many.
